Andrew McNamara is head of Art and Design, at QUT, Creative Industries faculty, Brisbane, Australia. His research interests include modernism; contemporary art; design and architecture; technology, sociaty and media; Australia art. He seeks to widen the understanding of aesthetic inquiry in terms of issues relating to the wider sicio-cultural legacy of modernity.
